R ecognized as a bright stars in performance psychology, Dr. Freigang is a
of competitive sports. Dan has published over 100 scientific articles on
periodization of mental training, self-confidence and game preparation. His
seminal research integrate psychological elements with technical training, has
become the standard for professional teams and individuals. Dan consults
with the United States National Teams (Jürgen Klinsmann), US Olympic Ski
Team, NHL, NBA, MLS, NCAA and Bundesliga.

Getting Children to Love the Game of Learning
Talented people all describe the passion that comes with learning. In this session we will explore the factors that
can help people enjoy work, play, and stimulate learning.
Understanding motivation, recovery, and self-confidence are keys to peak performance as well as enjoyment. This
session is designed for better understand the how we can structure activities for both recreational and competi-
tive help players to learn to love the game. How do you implement the mental skills of concentration, rehearsal,
emotional control and slump busting into your club programs? How do you measure progress of the four pillars of
performance in youth soccer? These questions will be explored with insight from our current levels of scientific data
as well as comparisons with training programs from worlds leading NGB’s. Practical suggestions will be provided to
help players train with efficiency and health.

Understanding your brain, emotion and healthy living
You know you shouldn’t eat that massive sugary donut but you do. It tastes so good going down, but you feel
terrible afterward. Is it guilt or poor nutrition? What motivates you to eat things that are bad for you? Why do
we use daily strategies in our lives that don’t work or don’t make sense? Your brain makes a good servant but a
terrible master. This session is about using your thinking patterns to enhance your life and move toward the joy
and connection of your authentic self. We will explore the skills for healthy motivation, rational thinking and self-
confidence as well as identifying the emotional traps where we may fall prey. Krispy Creams will not be served.

ers from the worlds of sport and business utilize the core leadership skills for success: (1) critical thinking skills,
(2) time on task skills, (3) motivation techniques for groups and (4) learning the winning mindset.
This workshop is designed to put theory into practice with practical examples of effective leaders.
