Northville Cup 2007 31^st event

This make the 31 year for the Northville Cup, schedule attached. This evert is less about the out come as to a long running tradition here in Northville. This may be the biggest party the Township has each year.

Starting tonight, we will have close to 900 players, 1700 parents, 500 grandparent 700 siblings then half that number again next week for our semi-finals and finals. The players range from 8 to 18. The format is a single elimination tourney. There are no ties; the tying teams will enter into a 5 minute over time without goalkeepers. Often the parents and players have not read the rules and this creates a heightening in the excitement.

Fall registration is well under way. Our WSSL teams will need to be submitted this weekend (Aug.4^th). After this date I will not be able to add teams for the U9 and older groups. Coaches, please make your calls.
